For more than two centuries, Piazza Garibaldi is considered the living room of the social and political life of the town. In this square stands the magnificent Cathedral consecrated to Saint Joseph. The square is bounded by beautiful buildings of the nineteenth century embellished with decorative elements, expression of the ability of local stonecutters. On either side of Garibaldi Squre you can admire the typical building with the clock, symbol of the town, and the Cartia Palace, municipal building as well as place of culture. In this beautiful square there is a small “Amphitheatre” where occasionally bands perform during the major town events.
